My first drive abroad
I drove us to Vienna in the morning and home again that evening. I had worried about my first international drive, but it turned out to be much easier than expected.
We left the car in a garage for only five euros, took the metro for a short section and walked between the markets.

Christmas everywhere
We explored two or three markets and saw the palace from outside. It was cold and crowded but beautifully decorated.
My favourite treats were white hot chocolate with whipped cream and coffee served in an edible cone.

A classic winter day
I think everyone should see Vienna’s famous Christmas markets once. For me, the day also marked the moment I proved I could confidently drive into another country.
